POSITION

We are looking for a qualified Front-End Web Developer to join our Digital Marketing team. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. If you’re interested in creating a user-friendly environment by writing code and moving forward in your career, then this job is for you. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design. Ultimately, you should be able to create a functional and attractive digital environment for our company, ensuring great user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Maintain and improve multiple websites.

  2. Improve & optimise our website's structure and foundation with a focus on user experience.

  3. Use a fluid grid and flexible visuals to design a standout responsive website.

  4. Collaborate with other developers and graphic designers to create beautiful and logical websites.

  5. Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.

  6. Create quality mockups and prototypes.

  7. Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.

  8. Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.

  9. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

  2. 3+ years of proven experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.

  3. 3+ years of proven experience using WordPress.

  4. Proficient with responsive design and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility issues.

  5. Experience with jQuery and Bootstrap.

  6. Desired but not required, some skills using ClickFunnel as a page builder.

  7. Desired but not required, some skills using Shopify as an eCommerce platform.

  8. Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery.

  9. Experience using ClickFunnels and WordPress.

  10. Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.

  11. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment.)

  12. Understanding of key website design principles and SEO optimisation.

  13. Knowledge of SEO principles.

  14. An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

  15. Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.

  16. Exercise independent judgement.

  17. Excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.

  2. A high-level overview of general business activities is preferred (operations, marketing, human resources, and finance).

  3. 3 years’ work experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Senior Project Specialist, or similar role.

  4. Substantial experience with Google Suite (Sheets, Documents, Gmail, Calendars, Slides) and basic PDF editing functions.

  5. Experience with Active Campaign and Zoom preferred.


This is full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with additional hours/times and might require some travel. Wealth For Life is an equal opportunity employer.
