POSITION
The Graphic Designer position will work alongside our marketing team to help bring Wealth For Life’s material to the marketplace and spread its message and information across Australia and the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with other departments on all graphic designs created and used for print; workbooks, PowerPoints, etc.
Place orders for printing and ensure the job specifics are correct for in-house and public use.
Organise and maintain all project assets used for printed materials.
Collaborate closely with art director, lead graphic designer and web developers.
Prepare final press-ready files based on supplied specifications for several types of printing.
Make various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production.
Provide image retouching, clipping paths and additional image manipulation.
Package and prepare files for release to printers or media partners.
Create PDFs for print and client review.
Conduct press checks.
Prepare images for online and mobile applications.
Catalog and reference art for future projects.
Follow a development timeline to ensure tasks are being completed on time.
Troubleshoot problems as they arise with creative team.
Assist in the daily design duties of the Marketing Department.
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
Stay up to date with new production techniques and trends through research and education.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or equivalent experience preferred.
3-7 years of experience in graphic design.
Experience on commercial printing design as well as custom design jobs.
Experience with technologies and best practices for creative design across multiple platforms.
Experience identifying and creating campaigns for target audiences.
Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilise concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Must possess a strong work ethic.
Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
SKILLS
Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign) experience.
Print-production knowledge.
Develop presentations (PowerPoints).
Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Photo editing skills.
Extremely detail oriented.
Highly efficient and organised
Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
Strong creative, artistic, and aesthetic skills.
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with social media marketing and strategies.
Experienced in communicating clearly and confidently with fellow team members.
Strong graphic design skills.
Analytical skills.
