POSITION

The Photographer/Editor position will produce captivating photos for widespread organisational use. The imagery created will reach a global audience and promote the company’s mission. In this role, you will capture important events using camera and lighting equipment and edit photos to ensure high quality output.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Uses expertise and skill to capture professional, high-quality images.

  2. Enhances the appearance of subjects with natural or artificial light.

  3. Uses photo editing software and applications to edit, crop, and enhance photographs.

  4. Ensures equipment is in proper working order and supplies are stocked prior to operation in the field.

  5. Oversees the security, operation and maintenance of equipment utilised in shooting and editing.

  6. Archive photographic images and maintain database.

  7. Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures.

Requirements

  1. Portfolio of prior work required.

  2. At least 2 years of proven professional shooting experience required.

  3. Advanced knowledge of photography fundamentals, composition and lighting (gear not required but a plus).

  4. Advanced knowledge in photo retouching.

  5. Adobe creative suite knowledge (photoshop, lightroom).

  6. Advanced live event, on-location, and studio photography skills.

  7. Mac operating system environment.

  8. Graphic design skills are a plus.

  9. Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation.

  10. Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.

  11. Excellent team player.

  12. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time through events.

  13. Must be able to lift heavy equipment when travelling.

SKILLS

  1. Capable of working well with internal and external teams/partners.

  2. Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

  3. Ability to effectively solve problems, think creatively, make decisions & take action, exercising independent judgment.

  4. Excellent time management and organisational ability.

This is full-time Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with additional hours/times and might require some travel. Wealth For Life is an equal opportunity employer.
